Modette footwear and accessories are designed in Austin, Texas and produced by small, specialized manufacturers across Portugal.

Each item is created by craftsmen who prioritize precision and construction integrity. Every pair goes through a meticulous production process - carefully developed and inspected before leaving the factory.

Our partners take pride in their work, a standard that reflects Portugal's reputation as one of the top shoemaking hubs of the world.

Product materials are selected to support longevity, comfort, and practicality. We use full-grain cow leathers for uppers, insoles, and linings, and a combination of leather and rubber for outsoles with extra grip.

Hardware and accessories are made from solid brass - chosen for its strength and elegant finish.

All leathers come from adult animals and are certified by the Leather Working Group.

The Bloom Loafer is designed to stand on its own, or evolve through detachable accessories.

Preorders allow you to purchase products that are not yet ready to ship. An estimated ship date is displayed below the preorder button on the product page.

We recommend reviewing the Shipping & Returns section of the product page for additional details before placing your order.

Preorders may be canceled or returned for a refund or store credit.

Unless noted otherwise, ready-to-ship orders are dispatched within 24-48 hours. While we're unable to guarantee changes once an order has been placed, we'll do our best to accommodate modification requests if they're received within the processing window.

We accept all major credit and debit cards, along with express checkout options like Shop Pay, Apple Pay, and Google Pay.

We currently ship to all U.S. states and plan to expand to additional countries in the future.

We offer free standard shipping on orders over $100. Orders are processed within 24-48 hours and typically arrive within 3-5 business days after being handed off to the carrier.

Orders can be shipped via standard or expedited service.

• Standard Shipping ($7): Delivered within 3-5 business days after a 24-48 hour handling window.
• Expedited Shipping ($30): Dropped off to the carrier the same day and delivered within 2 business days.

We want you to love your new shoes. If you experience any issues with your purchase, please contact support@shopmodette.com and we’ll be happy to help. You may also request a return for a refund or store credit within 14 days of delivery. 

Items must be returned in their original condition. Please try shoes on carpeted surfaces and include the original dust bags in your return package. Returns that do not meet these requirements may not be approved, and reshipment costs will be the responsibility of the customer.

For your convenience, we offer a prepaid return label for $7, which will be deducted from your refund. Alternatively, you may choose your own shipping method. Return instructions will be sent by email once your return request has been approved.

Once your return is received and approved, refunds are issued to your original payment method. Please allow 5–10 business days for the refund to appear, depending on your bank. Store credit is issued immediately upon approval.
